The Coastal Georgia Historical Society presents Pulitzer Prize-winning author Rick Atkinson in the program “The British Are Coming: Early Years of the American Revolution” on Sunday, May 5, at 5 p.m. at The Cloister on Sea Island.

Best-selling author Rick Atkinson will discuss his award-winning  book, The British Are Coming: The War for America, which covers the first 21 months of the Revolution. He will introduce the main characters, such as George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Nathanael Greene and discuss his search for the British perspective in King George III’s papers in the Royal Archives at Windsor Castle.
