You don't want to miss this FREE community event with both short and feature films, environmental education booths, food, and networking opportunities. Admission can be obtained by RSVPing online at www.GreenSceneGA.org (suggested $5 donation at the door).
Schedule of Events:
11:00 am • Local environmental organizations fair
11:30 am • Welcome/ Environmental Short Films that include a few locally filmed presentations: Tackling Trash in the Golden Isles, Green Infrastructure and Stormwater Management, Science with Niel DeGrasse Tyson, and Holly Buresh Ripple Effect film.
12:15 pm • Break for light lunch and networking with local organizations
1:00 pm • Feature Film Presentation: The award winning documentary How To Let Go of the World -and Love All the Things Climate Can't Change a film by Academy Award nominee Josh Fox. (Appropriate for ages 10+ due to mild language).
3:00 pm • Closing
[BONUS] Attendees can participate in a 50/50 raffle (must be present during Closing to win) and the first 100 attendees to arrive will receive a free sustainable swag bag and premium reserved seating.
