Beauty and the Beast Jr.
The Young People's Summer Workshop (YPSW) has been a part of the Island Players productions since 1975 and after missing last year due to COVID, is back in full force this summer. Not only do the participating children have a great deal of fun and meet others to share the theater experience with, they also learn about stage etiquette and being a responsible team participant. Many children who started their stage experience with the YPSW have pursued their love of theater through high school and community drama clubs and beyond. This summer’s production is Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr., directed by Lori Willis. Performances will take place at the Casino Theatre July 14-18 and 21-25.
