Meet the Artist Reception for Emily Taylor-Fendig

A 'Meet the Artist' reception for Glynn Visual Arts Artist-in-Residence Emily Taylor-Fendig will take place Thursday, January 11 in the lobby at Hotel Simone from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m., and all members of the community are invited to attend. Hotel Simone Operations Manager Jeremy Thomas will host the intimate affair and offer guided tours of the hotel suites and common areas. Light refreshments will be available for purchase. 

Taylor-Fendig is a coastal artist, drawing inspiration from her childhood spent on Mobile Bay to her present home on St. Simons Island. She’s a talented painter who loads her colorful brushes with joyful memories of life living near the water. Her work can be found at Hello Gallery in Fairhope, Alabama and she is a proud member of Glynn Visual Arts.

Taylor-Fendig’s work will be on display through March 31 and can be viewed daily during normal business hours in the lobby of Hotel Simone, located at 1200 Ocean Blvd., St. Simons Island, Georgia 31522.
