The Inn by Sea Island recently hosted an Elegant Evening of Art at The Inn featuring works by artists of the Contemporary Art Alliance of Georgia. Attendees enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, smooth jazz music, and the chance to meet artists and art lovers.

Wheel-a-Thon Was Big Fun
Kids took to trikes and bikes for the 2nd Annual Wheel-A-Thon benefiting the St. Simons United Methodist Church Preschool. It was a fun morning for all at this community event featuring bike races, bounce houses, face paintings, crafts & more.

Redfern Village turned into an open air concert venue for an evening with a big “homecoming” show supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Georgia. Singer/songwriter Ethan Garner, local bands Idle Hands & Rider opened for headliner Corey Smith.

Southern Soul Barbeque’s annual Firebox fundraiser returned to “the block” this year. Some of the nation’s top pitmasters were set up outside of Frosty’s Griddle & Shake and what they were dishing up was divine!

First Tee – Golden Isles recently held their annual Drive for Life 100 Hole Marathon. Brave players raised money in an effort to play 100 holes in one day in support of First Tee’s mission of building game changers through golf and life skills.
