Brunswick Mayor Cosby Johnson recently joined Board members and community supporters of St. Mark’s Towers to officially designate October 6 as St. Mark’s Towers Day in Brunswick. The HUD-subsidized residence community offering affordable housing and a recreation center for older adults celebrated its 40th anniversary with a reception for residents and guests and a ribbon cutting ceremony presented by the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce. St. Mark’s Towers Foundation President Peter Schmidt said, “We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and caring that has sustained us for the past forty years and look forward to a bright future.” For more information about St. Mark’s Towers, visit stmarkstowers.com.
