Sausage Cheese Balls
Yield: 5 dozen
Ingredients:
1 lb. ground sausage (seasoned to your preference)
1 lb. (4 c.) sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
3 c. Bisquick
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350° F. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. (Add up to 1/2 c. of milk if you’d like the balls to have a more moist consistency.) Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve warm with pepper jelly or raspberry jam. Kitchen Tip: Sausage cheese balls may be made ahead of time and frozen either before or after baking.
