Smoked Oyster Spread
Yield: 3 cups
Ingredients:
2 pkgs (8 oz. ea.) cream cheese, softened
¼ c. green onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. prepared grated horseradish
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. onion powder
Dash or two Tabasco sauce
2 cans (3.6-oz. ea.) smoked oysters, drained and chopped
Assorted crackers or baguette slices
Preparation:
Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add next 8 ingredients, mixing well. Gently fold in oysters. Cover and chill overnight. Serve with assorted crackers or baguette slices.
