The "Four S's" from St. Simons Island with Steve Moore and Ali Urqhart from Evelyne Talman at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
The Zang Toi show on Wednesday evening at New York Fashion Week was a smashing success with a capacity audience of more than 800 giving the designer a well-deserved standing ovation and loud cheers. he 4 s's from St. Simons -- Susan, Sharon, Sibby and Susie were seated on the fourth row with a perfect view of the runway. Celebrities lined the first row and the excitement was contagious.
Zang's theme, Shanghai 1930's "Paris of the Orient" was represented in brilliant jade and black. Cashmere glen plaid was also highlighted as was charcoal hand loomed English wool tweed. As the show progressed, each piece was more breathtaking than the previous one.
The Grand Finale spotlighted a "black silk gazar empire coat with hand-beaded brilliant jade Art Deco skyline lining over a black silk gazar column gown with brilliant jade art choker." Magnificent!
Following the show, we all went backstage to greet Zang and let him know how excited we were about welcoming him to Fashion Week at Sea Island on March 13th.
We joined Steve Moore and Ali, his assistant from Evelyne Talman for dinner following the show. It was a magical evening of fashion.
