Holiday shoppers can bid on exciting individual items and gift packages at the Second Annual United Way “Give Where You Live” Silent Auction, sponsored by Rich’s. Admission is $10 (tax deductible). Appetizers will be served and live musical entertainment will be provided by Tony Adams and DJ Rob.
The silent auction features something for everyone. Among the myriad products and services up for bidding are restaurant and hotel packages; fishing trips and dolphin tours; health club memberships and rounds of golf; photography services; and other passes to family fun and adventure.
Admission includes drawings for free door prizes ranging from restaurant gift certificates to casino cruise tickets to free bowling. In addition, several raffles are planned, with raffle tickets affordably priced from $1 to $20. The treasure chest of raffle items includes a case of assorted fine wines, complete with wooden wine rack. For the wine raffle only, you do not need to be present to win. Wine raffle tickets are $20 each or three for $50 and can be purchased on-site or ahead of the Thursday evening event by contacting Laura Seban at 634-3157.
