Coastal Georgia Historic Society Senior Historian Buddy Sullivan will present his six-week history course, “An Overview of Coastal Georgia History,” on Tuesday afternoons, January 11–February 15, 2022, from 4-6 p.m.
The course chronologically traces Georgia’s coastal history from Native American culture through 20th century events, including World War II. While covering the coast from Savannah to St. Marys, the focus of the course is on St. Simons, Jekyll, and Brunswick. The cost is $65 for CGHS members and $110 for non-members. *Please note that the first two lectures, January 11 and January 18, will take place at the St. Simons Presbyterian Church. The remaining dates will be held at the A.W. Jones Heritage Center.
