A DELIGHTFULLY ENTERTAINING AND DELICIOUS EVENING
Brunswick Actors' Theatre Readers' Series at Coastal Kitchen in the Harbour Room September 23 and 25 at 6:30 pm
The fun begins at 6:30 pm in Coastal Kitchen's Harbour Room. Take in the view and relax with a glass of select wine before settling in to enjoy a fresh crisp salad followed by a specially prepared signature entrée.The finale to this already perfect evening is Brunswick Actors' Theatre's rehearsed reading of Death Defying Acts: three one act plays by three noted American playwrights:AN INTERVIEW by David Mamet is an hilarious look at an attorney's meeting with the attendant at the gates of Hell. He trys to explain matters in the venacular of his profession only to find "the tables are turned". Featuring Daryl Moore and Mike Dyche.
HOTLINE by Elaine May is a black comedy that looks at the absurd side of a suicide hotline when things go awry. Although, nothing on the surface is funny about suicide, but Elaine May turns the subject on its head, the humor of the human condition comes through in flying colors. Featuring Darryl Daniel, Mike Dyche, Tony Ferri, Amy Lovin.
PATTERSON'S by Mary Miller is a short piece that features a conversation between two grieving adults at Patterson's Funeral home. The deceased's sister has a few things to get off "her chest" and her widower would like her to put them back! Very funny and poignant! Featuring Darryl Daniel and Tony Ferri.
