World Water Relief implements WASH projects in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. WASH projects include safe drinking water, sanitation improvements, and hygiene education. Each WASH project is maintained and monitored by the in-country WWR team. Hygiene clubs led by student leaders are also part of the WASH implementation. Community members around the schools may take water from the schools for their personal household use. World Water Relief currently has 34 WASH projects and adds an additional 8-12 projects per year.
