Katy Austin Smith of the UGA Marine Extension will discuss current research & outreach activities on coastal issues, such as plastic marine debris, sustainable consumer solutions, and overall conservation of coastal Georgia's unique ecosystem. Enjoy cocktails and the beautiful marsh view from the Village Creek Landing deck starting at 5pm, then the lecture begins at 6pm with a Q&A to follow.
