True Grit

An Old West Fest takes place during First Friday in historic downtown Brunswick to kick off The Big Read 2014: Coastal Georgia Reads True Grit. A variety of activities including square dancing, cowboy stories around the campfire, and hands-on projects that will be fun for kids and adults alike. "People with Grit" art exhibit opens at The Ritz Theatre Gallery and a screening of the 2010 version of True Grit, starring Jeff Bridges will round out the evening. Free and open to the public.
