Of Mangoes & Clay Opening Reception

The opening reception for "Of Mangoes & Clay," featuring fine art botanical paintings and prints from award-winning botanical watercolor artist and former St Simons Island resident Hillary Parker and the ceramic art forms of Ross Edwards is free and open to the public. The exhibit will be on display April 2 - May 16, and includes the 8 paintings of mangoes on display at the Royal Horticultural Society of London Invitational Botanical Art Show last October in London. Works by Edwards, a young designer of both functional and sculptural items, uses clay as his favorite medium. He and his partner Niki Coverstone are Oyster Design Co., a design and production team making quality handmade ceramics.
