Brunswick 4th of July

Bring the kids, tell your friends and neighbors, sharpen up your old-timey game skills!  It’s time once again for the entire community to celebrate Independence Day with an evening of fun, fanfare, and fireworks. The evening will kick off with patriotic music provided by the Coastal Brass Choir, a new group of talented local musicians under the direction of Martie Pahris. Then the games begin and all ages can participate in the fun. The First Baptist Church of Brunswick will be lending a helping hand to the celebration and will be manning the paint ball game and pedal car races. Free watermelon slices courtesy of the City of Brunswick will be handed out and local organizatons, Heather House and the City of Brunswick Police Deparment C.O.P.  program will have hot dogs, hamburgers, sodas and more for sale. P O Sound and Lighting Rentals will serve as the DJ for the evening – providing fun tunes to hoola hoop and dance to as the everyone waits for the sun to set. Then at dark, a spectacular fireworks display explodes over the East River to the strains of patriotic music. It’s a wonderful, free event the community looks forward to every year, brought to you by the City of Brunswick and Golden Isles Arts and Humanities.
