Relay for Life 2014

What is Relay?

* Organized, overnight community fundraising walk

* Teams of people camp out around a track

* Members of each team take turns walking around a track

* Food, games and activities provide entertainment and build camaraderie

* Family-friendly environment for the entire community

* Honor cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost

The event is 12 hours long, and because Cancer never sleeps, each team is asked to have at least one participant on the track at all times. Because it's a team event, individual participants are not required to be there the entire time. But it's so much fun, you'll find it hard to leave!!!

This year's theme is SPACE: 2014 - A Relay Odyssey" and the countdown has begun! So dust off your Space Suits, put on your Spock Ears and fire up your Rocket or Space Ship as we get ready to head into the Milky Way. You will have an Out Of This World Adventure! In addition, we will be Celebrating 20 Years of Glynn County Relay For Life in 2014 and it will be a Space-tacular Celebration!

The Journey to End Cancer Starts with a Single STEP! The American Cancer Society invites you to take that STEP by joining the global Relay For Life movement.
