Veterans Day Celebration St Simons Island

Veterans Day speaker

The parade, open to all veterans, starts at 10:15 a.m. at the Mallery Ball Fields on St. Simons Island and proceeds down to the St. Simons Island Village Pier area. It will be led by the Navy Color Guard from Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.

The ceremony honoring area veterans will begin following the parade at 11 a.m. at the St. Simons Casino.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Navy Rear Admiral Charles Richard, commander of Submarine Group 10.
