HSSG Feb Pet Betty
Betty is a 7 year-old Sharpei mix who was found wandering alone on the outskirts of a family's property. After she was brought to HSSCG she was scanned for a microchip and Glynn County Animal Services were notified with no luck in finding a family looking to claim her. Betty was checked out by our veterinarian and after being treated for a neglected skin condition, she is now in good condition. However, her spirits are low. Being a senior dog in a shelter environment isn’t easy. With puppies all around, the competition for adoption and attention is stiff. Betty is a wonderful dog and would make a perfect companion. Once out of her kennel her tail never ceases to wag and when you stoop down to pet her she kisses you freely. She would be content as a couch-loving companion but would also enjoy going everywhere with her two-legged friend! A laid-back, loving gal, Betty deserves a chance to live out the rest of her life in a loving forever home. Please call the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia at (912) 264-6246 to make an appointment to see Betty or any of their other animals available for adoption.
