Attorney Kathleen Willcox Williams is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Florida Bar, the Glynn County Chamber of Commerce, the American Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Glynn County Bar Association, the Criminal Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, the Workers Compensation Section of the State Bar of Georgia and the General Practice and Trial Section of the State Bar of Georgia. She is admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and Southern District of Georgia. Katie has tried numerous of jury trials in both State and Superior Court, has represented clients in appeals, has assisted clients in handling transactional matters including will preparation and real estate closings, and has successfully resolved hundreds of matters on behalf of her clients. A native of McDonough, Georgia, Katie attended the University of Georgia and University of Georgia School of Law. As an undergraduate at the University of Georgia, she majored in biological sciences, rode for UGA’s Equestrian Team and spent time studying abroad in Meknes, Morocco. While in law school at the University of Georgia, Katie interned with both the Hon. Marvin Sorrells and at the Henry County Solicitor’s Office, and she studied international law in Brussels, Belgium. Following law school, Katie clerked for Judges A. Wallace Cato and Richard J. Porter of the South Georgia Judicial Circuit and the Hon. Wade M. Crumbley of the Flint Judicial Circuit, and she worked as an associate attorney in private practice in general practice law firms located in North Georgia focusing on criminal, family and real estate law.
