Prior to her arrival at the Humane Society, Pepper had been removed from a hoarding situation along with several other dogs. Pepper got along great with her fellow canine companions and enjoys the company of other animals and people alike. After her arrival she was placed in a short term foster and her foster parents had nothing but wonderful things to say about her! She is confirmed to be housebroken, and is a very mellow dog. Not to mention very affectionate. A trait that can be common to dachshunds, she attaches very easily to people and tends to find one person in particular to claim as her own. She is now spayed, microchipped, current on all of her vaccinations, and has tested negative for heartworms. Pepper hasn't had an easy life up until now, and we hope she can find the furever home she's been dreaming of (and deserves!).
