2014 Birdies Fore Love Winner
The 2014 McGladrey Classic Birdies Fore Love was announced on Wednesday, November 5. Tonya Barbee was the lucky winner of a 2014 Buick Verano from Nalley Automotive of Brunswick. Her guess of 1470 as the number of birdies made for the entire tournament was the winning number. $5,000 will be also be donated to Tonya's favorite charity: Communities in Schools.
Since the program began in 2012, the Golden Isles community and McGladrey offices across the nation have raised more than a half million dollars. One hundred percent of the money raised through the Birdies Fore Love program goes to the designated charities. Charities participating this year include American Red Cross - Southeastern Coastal Georgia Chapter, Blessings in a Backpack, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast GA, Care Net Pregnancy Center of Coastal GA, CASA Glynn, Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, Communities in Schools of Glynn County, Concerted Services, Inc., Georgia PGA Foundation, Girls on the Run of the Golden Isles, Golden Isles Arts and Humanities, Habitat for Humanity Glynn County GA, Heart Gallery of Georgia, Heather House of Glynn, Hope House, Hospice of the Golden Isles, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Safe Harbor Children’s Center, Second Harvest, Special Olympics Coastal GA, STAR Foundation, Inc., The Gathering Place and United Way of Coastal Georgia.
