Neptune Park was overflowing with a rapt crowd of listeners adorned in patriotic attire for the annual Taps at Twilight Memorial Day program presented by the Rotary Club of St. Simons Island. From the first notes of music by the Glynn County Community Band to the closing notes of Taps, the service of remembrance and powerful address by eloquent guest speaker U.S. Army Colonel (Ret.) Kevin Brown beautifully honored our nation’s fallen warriors.
