The tickets for the St. Simons Land Trust Oyster Roast sold out in record time this year and the reason for that was clear seeing everyone enjoying the food, music, and fun atmosphere at Gascoigne Bluff the night of the event. Even the cold weather didn’t put a damper on this fabulous party with a purpose. Besides the many, many bushels of oysters shucked, from Jekyll Island Club’s “People’s Choice” winning seafood chowder to Georgia Sea Grill collective’s Brunswick Stew, there were plenty of delicious options to warm your belly and lots of friends gathered to warm your soul. Let’s do it again next year!
