Coach Herman Hudson was inducted into the Georgia Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame on June 7, 2008. Coach Hudson retired from Glynn Academy High School in 1995 after 28 years coaching football, basketball and golf.

Coach Herman Hudson was inducted into the Georgia Athletic Coaches Hall of Fame on June 7, 2008. Coach Hudson retired from Glynn Academy High School in 1995 after 28 years coaching football, basketball and golf. His greatest success was coaching the Glynn Academy golf team. His coaching record was two hundred thirty-five wins and seventy-one losses. Under his leadership, Glynn Academy won eight state championships, four state runner-up titles, and twelve region championships. The Glynn Academy golf teams set the standard for high school golf throughout Georgia and the Southeast. Coach Herman Hudson was a true gentleman and a wonderful teacher and coach. His success in the win/loss column is only exceeded by his success in shaping the lives of his student athletes.
