Step into the Winner’s Circle for The Champions for Children Grand Culmination Event on Thursday, April 25th, from 5-8pm, at Queen and Grant in Historic Downtown Brunswick. Pull out your best all-American Polo look and come support the 2024 Champions for Children, their campaigns, and Safe Harbor Center. Tickets are $75 for an evening of merriment, excitement, and entertainment. There will be a vendor market, music by sensational singer Owen Plant, and a return visit from the lovely American Bombshells. Halyards will be providing the delicious catered bites with a signature cocktail and bar. At 7pm, the thrilling Champions for Children Awards ceremony will begin for the crowning of the Ultimate Champion who will take home this year’s title. Don’t miss this memorable evening – it’s not just an event, it’s a celebration of community, philanthropy, and standing up for our community’s most deserving children.
2024 Champions for Children Event Details
This initiative brings together local leaders from diverse sectors to engage in a creative and spirited competition, all in support of Safe Harbor Center and its mission to uplift at-risk children and families in Coastal Georgia.
Champions for Children is an 8-week fundraising challenge that empowers participants to use their creativity, passion, and networks to make a real difference. Each Champion, armed with a $500 stipend, sets out to organize unique micro-events—from elegant private dinners to engaging community activities—turning every occasion into an opportunity to support Safe Harbor’s vital work.
Victory in this competition is measured by impact. Champions rally the community to donate, with each dollar contributing to their campaign tally. An exciting online leaderboard tracks each Champion’s progress, fueling a friendly yet competitive atmosphere. The campaign culminates in a grand celebration, honoring the collective efforts and the tangible difference made in the lives of many.
