Cassina Garden Club Jingle Bell Jumble

After 30 years of hosting a successful Christmas Tour of Homes, this year the Cassina Garden Club will instead celebrate Christmas and the restoration of its historic Tea Cabin with a “Jingle Bell Jumble” Annual Christmas Bake Sale & New Emporium from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5 at the Historic Tabby Cabins at Gascoigne Bluff. The “Best Bake Sale in the Southeast” is the one everyone anticipates! As always, it will feature delicious baked goods, homemade jams and jellies, fresh citrus fruit, nuts and other “Christmassy” confections handmade by Cassina members.  In addition, the club will be holding an upscale “Jumble Sale” featuring many decorations included in previous years’ Sea Island Tour of Homes. This Christmas Emporium will also include decorative pots, bows and fresh cut local greenery for you to dress up your home for the holiday.

Proceeds from the sale will fill the coffers of the club’s “Cabin Fever” ongoing tabby cabin restoration effort dubbed. So far, the club has raised more than a quarter of its $400,000 goal to ensure that the cabins can continue to tell their story to our community. Event goers will get a sneak peak at the restoration work underway and can see the restored Tea Cabin exterior wrapped as a special “gift to the community.” Commemorative gifts will also be available for purchase that day, with proceeds benefiting the restoration.
