The Shadowboxers

With a passion for captivating lyrics, tight harmonies, and soulful vocals, the Atlanta-based Shadowboxers will be live in concert on Rainbow Island, at Sea Island, on Thursday, August 7.

Founding members Scott Schwartz, Matt Lipkins, and Adam Hoffman experienced an almost-instantaneous musical compatibility when they first started jamming. Together with drummer Cole McSween and bassist Carlos Enamorado, they've forged a cohesive sound based on a shared reverence for the strong, taut harmonies of Simon & Garfunkel, D'Angelo, and The Beatles. This young band's unified sound has an R&B-soaked, smart perspective replete with an abundance of vocal talent and songwriting skill. In the short time the quintet has been playing together, The Shadowboxers have found a collective voice that is intelligent, soulful, and catchy.  

The concert will be held on Rainbow Island at Sea Island, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and Brady Reich opening for the band at 8 p.m. VIP Tickets, which include valet parking at The Cloister, and transportation to Rainbow Island, seating/front row access, complimentary concessions and access to a covered/VIP pavilion, are $75; General Admission Tickets, which include self parking at the Beach Club, transportation to Rainbow Island, general seating and access to a cash bar and concessions, are $30.
