Live Music at Mullet Bay
As the song goes, “summer’s here and the time is right for dancin’ in the street!” It’s the season for fun in the sun and under the stars, and Mullet Bay is the perfect place to start . . . or end. Now with extended bar hours and live music on select days and nights, this joint is jumpin’!
We told you about the new deck expansion last year, and the response to that has been tremendous. A walk past on a sunny afternoon or evening is all the evidence you need; you’ll see families and groups of friends enjoying the island ambiance and delicious food and drinks for which this village mainstay is known. You might even get lucky enough to hear some tunes drifting out from the likes of Joey Thigpen of Backbeat Boulevard for an added treat.
There are new items on the menu, fresh fish selections, and the bar now offers a craft beer selection with a focus on Georgia beers. Of course all of your favorites are still there too, including the big salads, yummy fish tacos, and the refreshing cocktails! Conveniently located in the heart of Pier Village and open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with extended late night hours at the bar until 2:00 a.m., you’ll always have a place to take your friends where you can find good food and a fun, casual atmosphere.
The addition of live music on the deck makes Mullet Bay even more appealing. Whether it’s a weekend afternoon acoustic set or a full-band gig on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday from local favorites like Soul Gravy, Defunk, or Traveling Riverside Band, there’s no question that this is an ideal place to chill with friends and enjoy some tunes. Keep an eye on the board out front to see if your favorite band is coming to the deck.
