HSSCG June Pet of the Month Gemma
"Hi there! My name is Gemma, and I am so honored to be named the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia's Pet of the Month for June. I'm pretty used to being important, though. After all, I've been the greeter for HSSCG's Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic for the past several months. I've got a bit of celebrity experience, and I do enjoy being treated like a queen. But, don't think I've gotten a big head about it or anything. I've really used that time to hone my people skills and work on socializing. I'm really good at networking! Which is why I'm a little surprised I haven't found a furever home yet - I thought for sure I'd have a permanent position by now. Let me take this opportunity to tell you that June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month! The Humane Society will waiving fees for cat adoptions for the entire month.
