Join the St. Simons Rotary, Nalley Auto, The McGladrey Classic team, and the Davis Love Foundation in supporting Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Georgia, The First Tee, and several other local children’s charities by attending the 3rd annual Meet the Local Pros event on September 26 and the Swing for Kids Tournament on September 27.
Meet the Local Pros is a chance for you to get up close and personal during a special press conference with our local PGA Tour Pros. There will be cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres served as well, so it’s a great time to mix and mingle with friends and our hometown golf celebs. The event takes place from 5-7:00 p.m. at the King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort on Thursday, September 26.
On Friday, September 27 at the King and Prince Golf Course, the Swing for Kids tournament will begin with a noon shotgun start. There will be a charity scramble, lunch, prizes, and a Hole in One contest with chances to win two cars compliments of Nalley Auto. A child from the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Georgia, a recipient of the tournament’s proceeds, will participate on each 4-person team. And don’t let the fact that they’re kids fool you, they’ve been getting personalized instruction on the King and Prince course, and are raring to go! So bring your best game! Hole sponsorship is still available for only $150.
Tickets to the Meet the Local Pros event are $65. Tickets for the Swing for Kids Tournament are $125. A combined ticket is available for $180. The purchase of a ticket to either event includes one free day pass to the McGladrey Classic. Tickets are available at the King and Prince Golf Course and at the Sea Palms Resort.
